Job Summary:

AML KYC Global EWR & Cross Sector Head is primarily responsible for managing the Level 1 Matching and Level 2 Enterprise Wide Review Operations processes with oversight of the Regional Team Managers and Analysts as well as coordination and governance with Global business stakeholders. This position is also the designed Centralized Hub Lead for the Enterprise-Wide Review Process. Responsibilities include but not limited to managing implementation of all strategic initiatives, providing oversight and direction of the day to day operations, risk management, and interfacing with support functions and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Direct management of and oversight of 2 - 4 AML Operations Managers responsible for managing teams of 8-12 Analysts who perform KYC reviews of high risk clients

·         Manage capacity for all areas of responsibility, support hiring and training

·         Develop and implement the Global Operating Procedures in accordance with Global AML Policies and Standards

·         Manage the Global Operations Procedures Change Control Process

·         Act as the point of contact to all Business Liaisons for the Enterprise-Wide Review process

·         Work with the Businesses, Support Functions and Compliance on all Enterprise-Wide Review program related initiatives

·         Oversee the integration of new processes, including the development/enhancement of required technology systems/solutions, procedures development, staffing, and required training

·         Develop operational initiatives, benchmarks and metrics for standards of performance

·         Responsible for strategic planning and implementation for area of responsibility

·         Provide SME guidance and support to business customers and Regional Cross Sector teams

·         Serve as primary interface of functional area to AML Risk & Control in support of internal audits and external regulators

·         Ensure potential risk is adequately identified, reported, managed and mitigated, and that appropriate controls are in place to address such risk

·         Ensure successful accomplishment of the MCA process as they apply to each process

·         Analyze workflow reports pertaining to productivity, quality, and capacity planning to provide guidance and coaching to AML Operations Managers

·         Assisting in the development and implementation of improvement plans with Quality Assurance personnel

·         Coordinate the goals and activities of the AML Operations Managers

·         Ensure all Global teams operate within agreed business SLAs

·         Building and applying knowledge of KYC processes across the team

·         Writing performance appraisals

·         Create and foster a trusting and engaging work environment with a focus on employee retention and growth

·         Work effectively in the face of ambiguity, shifting priorities, and managing multiple deadlines

 



Qualifications

Job Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

·         6 years of professional work experience in AML Operations or combination of experience in related field/activity, with a minimum of 2 years management experience

·         Knowledgeable of the laws applicable to money laundering, including the Bank Secrecy Act, the USA PATRIOT act, US Treasury AML guidelines, and OFAC requirements

·         General understanding of Senior Public Figures, Money Service Businesses, Wealth Management and Retail Banking preferred as well as compliance with those business segments

·         Excellent organizational, time management and project management skills

·         Strong Performance record with a history of increased responsibility and task/project delivery

·         Computer Literacy

·         Strong writing, analytical and communications skills

·         Able to multitask and complete assigned task with minimal guidance and supervision

·         Highly effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills to all levels of management

·         Demonstrate initiative and creativity in problem solving

·         Strong leadership skills and attention to detail
