Responsibilities:
Strategy Development
  • Define a digital program's strategic vision and business goals to guide strategy development and execution, and to move people to action
  • Develop strategies that drive JPM AM business performance
  • Leads the development of the digital business strategy/roadmap ensuring integration with the organization's business plans
  • Lead identification and articulation of innovation opportunities
 Multi-Channel and Digital Experience Vision
  • Provide assessment and vision of the ideal digital experience by defining key capabilities that differentiate JPM AMs and meet customer needs spanning UX, design, and content
  • Define cross-channel implications and opportunities
  • Define impact to brand and customer audiences
Insight Generation
  • Define and conduct (or partner with others to conduct) appropriate research activities, and evaluate findings. Research activities include:
    • Assessing Digital's role in JPM AM's business model
    • Connect the dots, synthesize and articulate key business insights in a clear and compelling way
  • Lead efforts on Competitive Intelligence including compiling reports, associated analysis and management reporting documents ready for publication and review by senior business leaders
  • Understand industry trends, competitors' technology and our technology platform to identify opportunities to deliver differentiated capabilities to clients and market participants
Digital Thought Leadership
  • Provide recognized thought leadership and points of view on Digital strategies
  • Create inspirational presentations on Digital that demonstrate smart thinking and strategic insight
  • Actively researches emerging digital business models and technologies, articulates the digital future and the company's role in it
Organization and Governance
  • Analyze and provide recommendations on organizational issues related to formal structure, roles & responsibilities, processes, governance and decision rights, cross-functional team alignment, and similar operating considerations
  • Support internal and external communications, including Senior Executive and Board Level
  • Work with others on the leadership team to define and prioritize digital strategy to support the organization in moving from a traditional business model to a digital business model and culture
  •  Lead the ongoing evaluation and analysis of departmental work processes to identify opportunities to re-engineer workflow to improve experience delivery.
Strategy Delivery Oversight
  • Facilitate workshops, ideation sessions, and decision-making
  • Maintains overall accountability for implementing the roadmap of initiatives
  • Provide oversight and input into enterprise initiatives that impact customer experience
  • Lead strategic review of solution development; provide clear and timely feedback to ensure experiences, technology and marketing solutions are delivered on-strategy
  • Lead or participate in project post-mortems; capture key learnings and develop case studies as appropriate
  • Results-oriented and delivers return on investment (ROI) contemplated in the digital strategy


Qualifications

Measurement and Evaluation
  • Work with strategy team members to define success metrics and evaluate business impact of digital strategies and projects over time
  • Define targets for identified metrics
  • Develop processes for collecting and analyzing necessary data
 People and Team Management
  • Build digital team expertise by mentoring team members across the Research, Strategy, UX & Design, and Content domains offering training in relevant methodologies, techniques, frameworks, etc.
  • Proactively works to improve process for strategic delivery and team workflow
  • Develop thought leadership pieces for publication and/or business development
  • Promotes a culture of collaboration and teamwork across organizational boundaries; willing to break down functional silos to optimize business results and encourage the overall growth of JPM AM business
New Business Development
  • Support with JPM AM LOB Heads to sell-thru JPM AM products/services by representing Digital
  • Support the creation of RFP responses and proposals, and take a leadership role in pitching new business
  • Remain up-to-date on relevant news, best practices and trends within the marketing, media, and technology ecosystem as it relates to JPM AM, and share this knowledge
  • Support business development efforts with research, structure, smart thinking and big ideas
JPM AM Member of JPMC FinTech Group
  • Participate in the identification of external companies, venture investment process, and management of venture portfolio companies for on behalf of JPM AM
  • Engage global startup ecosystem and be represent JPM AM to entrepreneurs 
  • Socialize the companies coming through FinTech Group flow with key JPM AM stakeholders
  • Track industry trends and recommend where to move to capture most value for investments and for JPM AM
