J.P. Morgan Treasury Services(TS) is a line of business within J.P. Morgan's Corporate & InvestmentBank, which supports the transaction services and cash management needs ofclients worldwide. Within TS, Liquidity Solutions has responsibility for wholesalecash management products and offers leading cash and short-term investmentsolutions to CIB clients.

The Corporate & InvestmentBank (CIB) Finance and Business Management (F&BM) group provides financialadvice to support the CIB's business strategy and helps to ensure a soundcontrol environment. Within F&BM, the four major areas of responsibilityare: Business-aligned BMs (Business Managers), the CIB Controller, SupportStaff CFO, and Planning and Analysis.


We are looking for a new associate in Business Management to support the Global Liquidity SolutionsProduct team by providing strategic support, financial insight, anddecision-making guidance. The Liquidity Solutions & Escrow businesscontributes to more than 60% of CIB TS Product Revenues and provides asignificant source of the firm's wholesale deposits with average total depositbalances of ~$270B. As a result Business Management needs smart,highly-analytical team members to ensure our partners are well armed to makeeffective business decisions.

The Business Manager is adept atcrunching the numbers on our business drivers and client balances to supportour broader strategic initiatives while also explaining what those numbers meanto the business. Our group needs to be able to quickly drive change through anunderstanding of the key metrics of our products. The Business Manager partnerswith our other finance colleagues (P&A, Product Controllers, &Treasury) for budgeting, forecasting and financial analytics and is responsiblefor supporting the strategic and financial agenda of the broader management team,resulting in exposure to senior management such as the Global Product Head andRegional Heads as well as the TS CFO on a regular basis.


  • Become a processowner to execute a Global Annual Financial Plan and Monthly Forecasting processby project managing across regional BMs
  • Support country andregional business strategy, pricing strategy, and overall business directionthrough qualitative and quantitative input on major decisions and drivers forthe Liquidity Solutions and Escrow businesses
  •  Support the revenueand growth goals of the business through analyzing market rates, clientbalances, and product pricing to enhance profitability and find opportunities
  • Improve theinvestment process across TS to help the business manage its technologyspending
  • Work collaborativelyacross finance and the business while upholding financial control andconsistency to ensure accurate forecasts
  • Activelyengage in creating senior management level presentations and providingeffective reporting to senior product executives, business managers, and FinanceCFO's

  • Inquisitive naturewith advanced problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skillsincluding trending, and data analysis
  • Highly motivatedlearner who brings insight to the table and thrives in an environment that changespace often
  • Knowledge ofWCP/Paragon or LRI a plus
  • Knowledge ofliability balances, net interest income, funds transfer pricing and cashmanagement products or product management experience preferred but not required
  • Interest inshort-term financial markets and macro-economic drivers of market rates a plus
  • Bachelors Degreerequired; advanced degree a plus
