Role description:

The Global Corporate Bank is looking for an experienced Analyst to support the TMT team from our San Francisco office.

Working in a team environment, the Analyst will have access to seniorofficers of the firm as well as clients. You will be challenged to perform atthe highest levels of excellence and are rewarded for your achievements in ademanding environment. An Associate would be required to work with otherprofessionals as a team drawing from the full spectrum of the firm's resourcesto develop customized financial solutions to meet the needs of clients.

The Analystwill work with Managing Directors, Executive Directors, and Vice Presidents,assisting them with their development of client relationships and structuringof complex financial transactions.


Core Responsibilities

  • Development of forward looking new business plans for clients and the maintenance of existing business relationships

  • Conduct comprehensive client analysis to identify business needs that can be met with JPMorgan's broad array of corporate banking products across debt capital markets, risk management, treasury and securities services and asset management: Conversion of client analysis into concrete financial solutions

  • Assist with building and developing Treasurer level coverage of Corporate Bank selected clients in the region, working and coordinating with the line of business partners such as Debt Capital Markets, Markets, Treasury Services, Asset Management and Investment Bank Client Executives where such coverage exists.

  • Responsibility for Marketing in-scope Investment Banking products (including: traditional credit product, private placements, ABS/Conduit, FX, Flow derivatives, Commodities, Sales and Trading) and all non-IB products (including: Treasury Services, Investor Services, and Asset Wealth Management), through integrated Treasurer level coverage 

  • Comply with internal reporting and administrative duties.  Be well versed in internal revenue and client tracking tools 

  • Collaborate with the credit team on analysis, structuring, negotiation, and documentation of credit requests for all products set including loans, derivatives and TSS products

  • Develop an understanding of the credit requirements ofclients and the risks associated with the credit products



  • Bachelor's degree with outstanding academic credentials

  • At least 1-3 years of work experience in corporate banking, investment banking, treasury services, or credit

  • Experience working with a broad set of corporate banking products

  • Experience in either Corporate Banking, Investment Banking or Credit

  • Commercial mindset - able to communicate with clients

  • Excellent MS Office skills, specifically Excel based modelling and PowerPoint

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with JP Morgan processes and products

  • Achieved a graduate level degree in business (or a quantitative field), CFA or CPA

  • Fluency in a language in addition to English
