LM Wind Power, a GE Renewable Energy Company (approx. 9300 employees globally), is the world’s leading supplier of blades and service to the wind industry, and the only supplier that operates on a global basis. The wind turbine industry is becoming increasingly complex, with radical progress made over the last few decades, providing great opportunities for professional development and a work environment that promotes initiative and creativity. If working in a company which creates state-of-the-art technology and processes attracts you, LM Wind Power has a career for you.

Role Summary:
Your main tasks will involve copywriting and content creation for our intranet and website, and utilizing social media to distribute this content effectively on multiple channels. Essential Responsibilities:
As an intern in Global Communications, you will become part of a strong team of five full time communicators in Kolding and Amsterdam. The team works on the full range of activities within internal and external communication, PR and public affairs as well as sustainability reporting, which means you will be exposed to most of the disciplines in a corporate communications function. We expect you to contribute to the daily work of the department but will make sure you have your own areas of responsibility and projects to run too.

    We think you are:
  • An excellent writer, ready to take on a variety of topics - such as innovative technology, interesting people and the latest news from LM Wind Power and the wind industry.
  • A student of Communications or Journalism who is able to do at least a four month internship as part of your Master’s degree in Denmark, or someone who just finalized your studies and is looking for work experience

    We are:
  • A highly experienced team of communicators eager to learn from a student who brings in the latest knowledge and new ideas.
  • A hub for information and knowledge about the business, so as our intern you are bound to learn about business strategy, culture and more.
  • Hoping to get an intern who wants to be a full-blown member of our team and who is not afraid of challenging us on our ideas, methods and results.
  • A central function in an international company shaping the renewable energy industry and constantly developing our sustainability profile.
  • Located in Kolding, Denmark.

Desired Characteristics:

A fluent or native speaker in English
  • Open-minded and a quick learner
  • Experienced in using the Office package and if you are familiar with simple image editing in Photoshop and perhaps even know your way around video recordings and editing, it is a definite plus

Locations: Denmark; Kolding
