Role Summary:
We are looking for an engaged, open-minded and well-motivated Communications Intern, for the period from January to December 2018, to support Singapore communications team with all aspects of internal and external communications. This paid internship will provide you with insight into the dynamics of Corporate Communications within the world’s Digital Industrial Company.

Essential Responsibilities:
* Research on talking points for speaking opportunities and assist in the preparation of executive briefing books
* Draft and edit external and internal communication materials
* Update and compile media lists and coverage
* Conceptualize and produce content for internal communications channels
* Update content for website and social media platforms
* Provide logistics planning support for communication activities and events

Qualifications/Requirements:
* Undergraduate degree in progress (Degree majoring in Communications, Marketing or related discipline)
* GPA of 3.0 or higher (unofficial transcript should be available upon request)
* Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, and familiarity with web technologies
* Must be willing to intern from January - December 2017 (willing to look at flexible work arrangement)
* Must have legal work authorization in Singapore, no work permit/visa will be processed for this role

Desired Characteristics:
* Knowledge of and/or experience with Corporate Communications.
* Proficiency in Adobe design software.
* Prior internship or work experience in an office environment.
* Ability to quickly identify and prioritize issues and devise solutions
* Well-developed verbal and written communication skills (fluency in English)
* Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical and planning skills with high attention to detail
* Proven ability to meet deadlines
* Ability to exercise independent judgment consistent with department guidelines
* Ability to quickly identify and prioritize issues, create solutions and meet deadlines
* Strong sense of urgency and detail
* Strong team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of working within a globally diverse team across different time zones
* Self-Starter, proactive, able to work independently with minimal direction
