The Asset Management Finance Vice President positiondirectly supports the North America Institutional and Global InsuranceSolutions business which provides strategic guidance and manages assets forinstitutional investors, including corporate and public pension plans,corporate and public defined contribution plans, endowments and foundations, aswell as healthcare systems. The Asset Management Finance and BusinessManagement organization acts as a strategic partner to the sales organization.

 

Main Responsibilities / KeyDeliverables:

  • Provide analysis and recommendationsto senior sales managers, finance and control partners relating to financialand business matters
  • Partner closely with business leaders and finance organization around sales metrics, budgeting, forecasting, monthly expense, headcount, profitability, and ad hoc financial analysis
  • Drive key business initiatives for various sales channels that contribute to future growth
  • Represent the F&BM function withthe business by providing timely presentations and updates to sales teams
  • Partner with stakeholders across Asset Management including Sales, Strategy, Business Management, Client Account Managers, CRM, and others
  • Maintain excellent relationships with finance team members (P&A, Expense Team) and internal clients across organization
  • Assist with day-to-day oversight of thefinance team member across deliverables by acting as a partner while providingguidance and support
  • Ensure controls agenda is met byproviding support and oversight during month-end (including flows, book of business,expense, scorecards etc)

The successful candidate must be someone who can workindependently with minimal supervision. . We are looking for someone who has the following qualities:

  • 6 year's of work experience
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt tochanging priorities in a dynamic business environment and continuallyreprioritize to focus on the key issues/topics
  • Excellent interpersonal skills withthe ability to successfully engage and influence a broad range of individuals acrossvarious businesses and key support functions
  • Outstanding teamwork andinterpersonal skills who can integrate effectively within a fast moving, driventeam
  • Ability to learn new concepts,systems, processes and initiatives
  • Self-starter with a proven record ofdelivering results
  • Ability to innovate, multitask andpresent information in a clear and concise manner
  • Attention to detail with logicalthough process
  • Leadership skills
  • Strong written and verbalcommunication skills
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint,and Essbase (preferred)
  • Investment managementexpertise/experience is a strong preference but not an absolute requirement
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance,Accounting, or related area preferred
