Associate Editor -Citi Global Perspectives & Solutions
Reporting directly to the Citi GPS Managing Editor and working closely with authors and consumers of the Citi GPS product. Based in New York, this position will play a key role in the production, marketing, and branding of the Citi's Global Perspectives & Solutions (Citi GPS) thought leadership program. The position will also liaise with Citi Research, Corporate Communications, Legal, Research Technology, Graphics, and Distribution in various aspects.


Job Description

  • Assisting in the logistics surrounding the publication of Citi GPS publications. For example coordinating the report contributions from authors across the globe, assisting in the review, formatting, and editing of GPS product, and formatting/creation of graphics (infographics and excel-based).
  • Assisting in the compilation of the Citi GPS Storyboard.

  • Maintaining the Citi GPS website and coordinating content calendar.

  • Partnering with Citi's Social Media team to create messages that drive readership, and analyzing the impact of this distribution.

  • Monitoring the Citi GPS email inbox.

  • Maintaining contact with printer and coordinating hard copy distribution.

  • Maintaining distribution lists and fulfilling requests for Citi GPS reports.

  • Collecting and reporting readership data and performing ad hoc readership analysis.

  • Processing contributor contracts, submitting invoices, and following-up on payments.

 



  • 2-4 years of experience in an Editorial or Publications role.

  • Attention to detail and multi-tasking ability.

  • Understanding and comprehension of finance/economics.

  • Strong experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

  • Knowledge of Wordpress a plus.

  • Knowledge of Adobe Design suite (InDesign, PhotoShop, Illustrator) a plus.

  • Strong planning and project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

  • Personal traits including intellectual curiosity and integrity, strong positive attitude and team spirit, desire to learn and grow, highly organized, reliable, proactive, flexible and results-oriented.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
