Global Compliance plays a critical role in the successful execution of the firm's mission.  The Compliance function ensures a strong control culture by developing and maintaining program infrastructure that identifies, measures, and monitors compliance with applicable laws, regulations and rules that govern our business globally. Compliance teams work closely with business, legal, risk, and audit functions to provide expertise on regulatory compliance matters, assess and measure compliance and related risks, and monitor and test the adequacy of the firm's compliance control environment.
Global Compliance Practices is a group within Global Compliance and has responsibility for the design and management of common standards and best in class practices to be implemented and utilized across the global compliance organization. This team, in partnership with Chief Compliance Officers across the firm, designs the approach to the firm's compliance program and centrally manages and continually enhances these core compliance processes.
Position Description
The role, as part of the Global Compliance Practices team within Global Compliance, is a Business Analyst role within the Compliance Risk Assessment (CRA) function.  The BA will support the development and continued enhancement of the CRA tool in support of the target state CRA process and development of the Compliance Dashboard to support Compliance activities.  Responsibilities including requirements gathering and tool testing.   The BA's role will also include supporting the end user community and liaising with key partners such as technology, operational risk and the Controls room.   
  • Produce detailed requirements specifications for new/changed system functionality
  • Develop user stories and acceptance criteria for building or enhancing product and system features and document approach
  • Liaison with development team to ensure that they understand the specifications
  • Attend and actively participate in scrum meetings such as sprint planning, standup and demos
  • Translate business scenarios into relevant unit/system/integration/interface testing scenarios
  • Develop flow charts, functional diagrams and descriptions to communicate specifications
  • Document Change Control process


  • 5  years  Business analysis & project management experience
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong orientation towards process definition, enhance/improve existing processes
  • Ability to partner with multiple stakeholders having different requirements/interests and negotiating to achieve a positive outcome for all stakeholders
  • Candidate must be highly organized, detail-oriented, hands-on, motivated self-starter who can work independently
  • Candidate must be hands-on, strong team player and be extremely flexible and able to work in deadline driven, fast paced environment adopting to constantly changing business priorities
  • Experience in project lifecycle, especially business requirements and testing
  • Effective communicator with ability to communicate (both written and verbal)
  • PMP, Scrum Masters certifications are, agile experience a big plus
  • Previous experience in Compliance or Risk a plus
