Role Summary: In the role of Global Pressure Control Materials Manager, you will:
Lead Pressure Control Services long-term capacity planning, inventory and production control requirements demonstrating strong integration with manufacturing / sourcing teams and cross-functional stakeholders (commercial / sales, product line / region, engineering, finance)
Support the platform & ITO function to drive simplification with strategic make / buy decisions, material procurement timing, order release timing requirements, available capacity, lead times, and master data management
Build on existing manufacturing planning and control processes to ensure adequate S&OP deliverables and actions surrounding resource planning are met
Work with local teams to ensure utilization of ERP systems- ensuring comprehensive processes & procedures and compliance to standards
Manage capacity / loading across shared global factories
Work with Pressure Control Services service sites to ensure inventory control and replenishment processes are consistent with standardized material control practices
Understand and represent Pressure Control Services site master schedules and drive accountability around capacity requirements planning amongst the sites -develop & utilize advanced planning tools to analyze total platform data and provide regular updates to GSCM & business leadership
Interface with regions, product line and manufacturing teams to track platform production progress, service and inventory levels
Lead site Materials Management teams through improvement initiatives across 5 critical materials processes
Be responsible for defined work or projects with high complexity. Follows an individual work plan and meets day-to-day short-term & strategic objectives independently. Has the ability to resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning
Effective coach & mentor for local teams through training & materials management best practices
Facilitate Action Work-Outs to generate projects to achieve process improvement objectives
Report results and issues to appropriate audiences including key executive leadership and process team members
Lead and manage multiple Six Sigma projects using DMAIC, DFSS, and CAP tools
Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering disciplines from an accredited college or university
Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory management, shop operations, facilitation and/or production control in a manufacturing environment, production planning, inventory management principles and practices, and/or materials management disciplines
Travel 20% of the time, as required
Experience with Oracle site implementations
SQL knowledge and experience
Experience in the oil and gas industry Business Operations
Strong written presentation skills on financial analysis
Strong Oracle knowledge and experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to effectively manage changing and conflicting priorities and resolve appropriately
Ability to effectively operate in any organizational structure
